You will need a valid Origins badge to enter the store but it does not cost anything to shop.
Q: Will there be a bag check at the Origins Consignment Store?
Yes
Q: Why is there a limit on a store item price?
We use a bag check and staffing to try to prevent theft but we must enforce a price limit on items to manage our liability.
Q: Why is there no onsite registration?
Onsite registration takes up a lot of space, requires more computers, and would add the need for additional staffing.
Q: Where the location of the Origins Consignment Store?
Ohio Center B&C
Q: When can I drop off my items to sell and pay for my registration fees?
Drop off your tagged items on Thursday (12 to 5 pm) in Ohio Center B&C. If you cannot make it, email us ahead of time.
Q: When will the Origins Consignment Store be Open?
Friday & Saturday: 10 am to 8 pm
Q: When can I pick up my earnings and any unsold items?
Pick up your earnings and unsold items on Sunday (10 am to 2 pm). Payouts are in cash, or for larger amounts, a combination of cash and check.
Q: What if I cannot pick-up my earnings onsite on Sunday?
Your payout will be mailed within 30 days (USA and Canada). Just note that any unsold items not picked up will become the property of Big Mallet Auctions.
Q: Is there a limit to the number of items I can sell in the Consignment Store?
There is no limit to the total number of items that we will accept however we are placing a limit to the number of common items to 10.
Q: If I have something pre-registered, will I be charged if I do not bring it?
No. You can pre-register as many items as you like but you will only be charged for the items that you bring on-site to the consignment store.
